Continuous Bee Activity near a hole or opening. Usually it will start slowly and gradually increase to a steady flow.
Aggressive behavior. Bees will usually be Protective of their nesting area, where as not so much when their out gathering Pollen, Nectar, or Paraffin Wax. Guard Bees stay close to home, and tend to warn you if you get too close with a bump or even a sting if they feel your a threat.
Dead Bees near light sources. Bees are light sensitive and confuse artificial light with day light. They will die trying to get out.
Noises or vibrations. Sometimes you can Hear them in walls.
Heat. Bees keep their nest at or around 94°. You can actually feel them inside of walls. Find the hot spot on a cold wall, and WOW.
